Land Rover's current range of SUVs include a few hybrids - all of them diesel-engined and with no plug-in option. But no, it seems the company is testing a supercharged, gasoline-powered plug-in at Germany's Nurburgring. The test car is seen in electric mode at speeds of over 30 mph (impossible in current models), and is wearing plates marking it as gasoline-powered. Presumably, it will be powered by a 3.0-liter supercharged 380-horsepower unit combined with an electric motor.
