Range Rover Sport R-S Will be as Wild as its New Camo

Spy Shots

Could be set to debut at the NY Auto Show next month.

Coated in a camo made up of images of other Range Rover Sports in various locations, these latest spy shots of a near-production-ready prototype of the high-performance Range Rover Sport R-S indicates the hot RR Sport is ready for an official unveiling. Whether that will be at the New York Auto Show, where the standard Sport debuted last year, or at the Beijing Motor Show to pander to Land Rover’s ever-growing Chinese cliente, remains to be seen.

Failing that, Land Rover will debut the Sport R-S at the Paris Motor Show in October. The new flagship model is distinguished by a set of quad exhausts integrated into the rear bumper, gaping intakes in the front fascia, large blacked-out alloys and upgraded brakes with blue calipers. Under the hood, the 550-hp 5.0-liter V8 found in the Jaguar F-Type R and XFR-S will likely be responsible for the SUV's motivation.
