OCD is probably useful if you have a 2012 Mustang GT to love and care for.
My name is Dustin. I'm a new ICU nurse and I take probably too much of my time washing, buffing and protecting the paint on my new baby, a 2012 Mustang GT with Brembo Package. I've got some major OCD tendencies and my car gets the blunt of it. You can't even eat in it unless I trust you not to mess anything up! There's only been one person other than me who's gotten to drive her. The interesting part is how I bought her. I'm from South Geogia. I flew on a plane for the first time alone, to Kalamazoo, MI, to buy this car with 5,800 miles on it. I then drove over 1,100 miles back home!
Q. What got you hooked on cars? A. For as long as I can remember I've loved cars. I grew up riding ATVs and learning to drive stick on my parent's vehicles. The first car I drove stick was a 1994 Mustang GT 5.0. Q. What was the last car you purchased? A. The car I last purchased is my current car - a 2012 Mustang GT 6 speed with the factory Brembo package. Q. What will be your next car? A. Who knows, I plan to keep this car for a while, at least until it's paid for, unless the price of gas skyrockets to the point that I can't afford to eat.
Q. What projects are you working on? A. Currently, I'm breaking the Roush Axle Backs, saving up for a CAI, general tuning and just keeping her clean. Oddly enough, I rotated my tires this weekend, left the car on jack stands overnight only to find that rain had poured down during the night. This caused ants to look for higher ground. They found it in the engine and door sills of my Mustang.
