It's one of the most famous scenes in cinema history and arguably the greatest car chase ever to hit the big screen. In fact the Bullitt chase scene is so well-known, that even those that have never seen the film are familiar with a Highland Green Ford Mustang racing a Dodge Charger through San Francisco. Celebrating 50 years of the Mustang, the Silverstone Classic has recreated the iconic scene and even includes the green VW Beetle that keeps reappearing, as per the 1968 classic.

The driver may not look quite like Steve McQueen, but he does a fine job chucking the sixties muscle car around the famous British track.
