Regal's AWD Isn't Just Snowbound Hysteria

Natural Disaster

Buick claims it enhances the 2014’s performance in all conditions.

With the unusual amount of snow America has seen this year, buyers are hitting up all and four-wheel drive models at a much higher rate, as evidenced by Jeep’s outstanding sales numbers this winter. Now, even Buick is unrolling an optional all-wheel drive system on its 2014 Regal’s 2.0-liter turbo models. The 259 horsepower model, which makes 295 lb-ft of torque, can now be equipped with the AWD that actively distributes power between all four wheels.

But Buick says that this option is not fueled only by winter storms and slippery roads. See what GM engineers have to say about this Regal’s performance.
