It was just the other day that we brought you news that Renault was planning two new performance concepts to unveil at the Goodwood Festival of Speed this coming summer. And now we have this sneak peek of what could very well be one of them. Reportedly spied while filming a promotional video is this mid-engined hatchback concept apparently called the TwinFun. We don't have much info to go an at this early stage, but it looks to be, as the name suggests, a fun take on the Twingo.

There's a wonderful history of mid-engined hatchbacks, you see, and few have proven as apt at making these little monsters as Renault. The Renaultsport Clio V6 (2001-2005) comes to mind, but given the big number painted on the side, this concept seems to channel the 1980s Renault 5 Turbo.
