While Infiniti may be Red Bull Racing's title sponsor, its sister company Renault is the one that provides its engines, propelling the team and its star driver Sebastian Vettel to three consecutive world titles – and putting them in the lead for another. So while Infiniti has produced the Vettel edition FX and has more Red Bull collaborations in the pipeline, Renault has rolled out this special Megane RS. The new top of the range starts with one of the quickest hot hatches on the market (the European one, anyway) and upgrades with a series of special touches.

The Red Bull edition is painted in a similar shade of blue to the RB8 grand prix car from which it takes its name, with grey trim to contrast. It rides on the same Bridgestone rubber as the Nurburgring record-setting Megane 265 Trophy, fitted to black 19" alloys. It's also got Recaro racing buckets and all the latest electronics, including R-Link multimedia, TomTom sat-nav and RS Monitor telemetry systems. Of course it's also got special logos inside and out to set it apart from lesser Meganes, and packs the hardcore Cup chassis and 265-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that make the Megane RS as sweet as it is.
