Rendered: 2013 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series

Get excited for the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series with this rendering done by Dan Buzdugan.

Upon hearing the recent news of a new, hotter and more powerful SLS AMG Black Series (you know, the gullwing Mercedes that everyone is talking about), Designer Dan Buzdugan of PS-Garage created and released a rendering as to what his dream Black Series Benz would look like. He wasn't shy with his vision, giving the German sports car restyled side vents and a redesigned front bump with lower and larger air vents. He also added a carbon fiber spoiler lip and aggressive hood scoops with a black mesh trim.

The rendering sits on a set of larger wheels that are housed in wider wheel arches. The coupe was dropped a bit to give it a low center of gravity. The wheels, finished in a slick black give the red exterior a stunning aesthetic. According to the designer, his rendered SLS AMG Black Series took its cues from the GT3 track model. This was due to the rumors that the Black Series coupe will actually be the street-legal racer. He expects the car to put out 600hp and 499lb-ft of torque from its tweaked 6.3-liter V8 engine. The Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series could cost a hefty 50 percent over the standard's price tag. Rendering courtesy of Dan Buzdugan.
