The BMW M5 Touring Wagon will rival the Audi RS6 Avant when it finally comes out.
Automobile renderers Theophilus Chin have just released their take on what the BMW M5 Touring Wagon might shape up to look like. At first glance you might just say it's an M5 front slapped onto a 5-Series Touring body, however the subtle tweaks by the renderers really give the German wagon a nice look. BMW is currently working on a carbon ceramic brake package for their M5 Touring Wagon. Known in-house as the F11, the wagon is set to rival the Audi RS6 Avant for power-wagon supremacy.
The very thought of the M5's twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 with 560hp sitting in this wagon sounds absolutely amazing. Not only would it give the RS6 Avant a run for its money, but also the Cadillac CTS-V Sportwagon. The latter is powered by GM's 6.2-liter V8 with 556hp. However, BMW hasn't confirmed when exactly the new M5 Touring will be releasedm but the ensuing wagon war is just around the corner. Rendering courtesy of theophiluschin.
