Production will reportedly be limited to 150 units and sold for £330,000 apiece. Aston Martin and Italian design house Zagato's joint effort has once again produced a future classic that will only increase in value and exclusivity over time.
According to recent reports, Aston Martin will be building only 150 units of the V12 Zagato that will sell for £330,000 (or $528,762 according to current exchange rates) apiece. The English automaker and Italian design house have joined forces once again to celebrate a 50 year partnership. The V12 Zagato is based on the Vantage with a heavily modified middle, rear and roof section for the roadster.
And like the Vantage, the V12 Zagato will generate its power through a 6.0-liter V12 that produces 510hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. In related news, the Aston Martin V12 Zagato endurance racecar concept recently made its debut at Nurburgring and at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. No exact figure was given as to how many units of the road car will be made available for the American market, but they will clearly be very limited and likely available to preferred Aston Martin customers/collectors only. What's a clear given is that all 150 of them will be sold very quickly.
