Report: Audi TT-RS Plus Coming Next Year

Lightweight

Audi is planning a more powerful variant of their TT RS coupe. The TT RS Plus should arrive next year.

According to a report by Automobile France, rumors of an Audi TT-RS Plus getting ready for production are no longer hearsay but fact. The new Audi will be lightweight and arrive next year. The Audi TT-RS Plus will feature a 2.5-liter 5-cylinder motor with an output of 385hp. The coupe will also lose around 132lbs thanks to an axing of the rear seats. In addition to a new fixed rear wing, the car will sit on a set of lightweight alloy wheels.

Designed for performance, the more powerful variant of the Audi TT RS (pictured) shouldn't disappoint when it arrives next year. The German company hopes that the new TT RS Plus will make the rival BMW 1-Series M Coupe obsolete.
