Tomorrow is a big day for Cadillac. GM's luxury division is set to reveal the high-performance versions of its two-sedan lineup, the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing. Over the past several weeks, Cadillac has released several teaser images and a few details, but the reported performance spec and engine leaks were generally more interesting.

In a surprise move, Cadillac released a 60-second teaser video during the Rolex 24 yesterday at Daytona showing both vehicles driving at night around the track with plenty of engine noise. At the end of the video, both are shown without any camouflage. Cadillac also released an image showing them in the flesh. The full reveal will happen tomorrow, February 1, at 7 p.m. EST with all performance and mechanical specs will be available then.

But as previously noted, we already know a great deal about these vehicles. The CT4-V Blackwing will be powered by a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6, an upgraded version of the LF4 engine that powered the now-discontinued ATS-V. Output will be at least 464 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque.

The CT5-V Blackwing, meanwhile, has the supercharged LT4 6.2-liter V8 from the CTS-V with a total of 640 horsepower and 630 lb-ft of twist. Expect a top speed in the latter of at least 200 mph and, according to Cadillac, it'll be the most powerful production vehicle it's ever built. Both rear-wheel-drive sedans will come standard with a Tremec six-speed manual transmission while a 10-speed automatic will be optional.

A list of leaked options made its way online last week with the CT4-V Blackwing being offered with a Brembo high-performance braking system, a carbon fiber front splitter, two unique carbon fiber packages, and an interior trim pack with sueded microfiber. The CT5-V Blackwing can be optioned with up to 20-inch wheels (19-inchers are standard), a Brembo carbon-ceramic braking system, and even all-wheel drive.

Anyone interested in placing an order starting tomorrow needs to be reminded that a $1,000 deposit will be necessary and the first 500 spots (250 for each vehicle) will receive additional benefits like low serial numbers and track time with personal professional instruction at the Cadillac V-Performance Academy at the Spring Mountain Resort in Nevada.
