It's possible that we're blowing this out of proportion, but probably not.
As the reality of such autonomous vehicles seemingly draws ever closer, concepts are starting to become more practical, and sometimes a bit creepy. The latest is the Rinspeed Budii, which will be officially debuting in Geneva. It is here previewed with a video that shows it taking over several aspects of a couple's lives, who react by being far too happy about the car learning which kind of sandwich to order for them. Probably because the car is drugging them.
We assume that the sequel to this video will be one where the car has learned what the woman wants and, having seen her in the bath, decides to steal her away from her husband. Just you wait and see.
