Rivian delayed its R1T last month, much to our disdain, but the automaker has given us plenty of reasons to stay excited about the new electric truck. Rivian will offer a removable roof for the pickup and has already shown us some of the truck's practical highlights like the truck bed and the frunk. These mainly focused on cargo, and now we're being shown what the interior of the Rivian R1T is like.

Rivian promises "a refined cabin that can still handle muddy boots" and anything else you may track inside by finishing the truck with materials that are both durable and easy to clean. But there's a lot more to look forward to than a pretty and practical interior.

The truck's available Adventure package offers front seats with both heating and ventilation, along with eight-way adjustability and four-way power lumbar support. The heated steering wheel (as well as the driver's seat) will also automatically adjust to a preset position thanks to customizable profiles, while the rear seating area has space and Isofix anchors for three full-size car seats. Should there be adult-sized people back there, they can take advantage of heated seating too.

Cupholders, foldable door pockets, and a large center console feature too, plus a large 33-inch storage area beneath the rear bench. This storage area spans the width of the center and driver-side rear seats.

The front seats have storage trays too, but buyers will likely be more interested in the center display, which offers access to navigation, media, drive modes, various vehicle controls, and cameras. The 16-inch screen also gives access to weather updates and WiFi, as well as the climate control system, which features "air vectoring technology" and eight electric motors to allow occupants to aim the airflow exactly where they want it. Those in the rear can do the same via a 6.5-inch display in the center console. Six USB Type-C ports are included too, plus a wireless charger that can revive two smartphones.

Other highlights include a Meridian audio system with 18 speakers and 1,100 W of power. The Adventure package further adds to the audio experience by providing a removable and weatherproof 'Camp Speaker' that can continue playing whatever your phone was in the car. This speaker boasts a built-in lantern and a charging port for your phone. It even has a low-bass mode to prevent disturbing others who are enjoying the great outdoors.

Overall, the R1T looks like an awesome adventure companion, and we can't wait to experience it for ourselves. Rivian says that if the truck doesn't appeal to you, it will soon be highlighting the features of the R1S SUV too.
