Now Make it Bigger
It's obviously not something you're going to see too often so we appreciate it when someone does something insane like strapping a jet engine to a car. This one isn't quite as insane, but it does help to demonstrate why you don't see more people making full-sized rocket cars. This is a model Corvette with a G-size model rocket motor attached to it, the biggest of the model rocket motors, and the result is the kind of thing you wouldn't want if you were sitting in it.
So although it does sound like fun to ride in a full-sized rocket car, Richard Hammond could tell you that it doesn't always end well. Maybe for now we'll stick to this kind of thing. Hat tip to Sweeper Keeper!
