For many people, the Aston Martin brand raises instant memories of old James Bond movies, the British marques having been featured as 007's ride on numerous occasions. But how much would you pay for a classic Aston that was driven by one of the actors who portrayed Bond, but in a TV series that had nothing to do with the popular movies? ] At a recent auction at Bonhams – Aston Martin Works put that number at a whopping £533,500 ($900,000).

The Bahama Yellow 1970 DBS was driven by Roger Moore in the British TV series "The Persuaders." Besides the celebrity claim to fame, it is also quite the car. Underhood, a 4.0-liter engine produces 280 horsepower, and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission. With a 0-60 mph time of 7.1 seconds, it was definitely a quick car for its time. The auctioned car comes with Roger Moore and Tony Curtis's autographs inside the trunk lid.
