There's no question the Bentley Bentayga is one of the stars of this year's Frankfurt Motor Show. Word has it that the first year's allocation is already sold out. That, however, isn't stopping Rolls-Royce from moving ahead with an uber luxury SUV of its own, the equally oddly named Cullinan. Speaking to Auto Express on the sidelines of Frankfurt, Rolls-Royce boss Torsten Muller Otvos not only stated that the SUV will launch at the end of 2018, but also that it'll be better than the Bentayga, which Bentley describes as the "best SUV in the world."

Otvos disagrees, stating that "The Bentley SUV is clearly the number two; Rolls-Royce is the best in the world and will be when our model arrives. We will bring a great new car, and an authentic Rolls-Royce into the market." In the meantime, RR is sitting back and enjoying the success of its latest, the Dawn convertible. Anxious customers are already throwing down more than $25,000 deposits just to get a spot in line to own one.
