The best car in the world just got better.
Getting its first revision since 2003, the latest Phantom Series II has received a handful of subtle changes that has helped it maintain its status as one of the world's finest automobiles.
For 2012, there are minor modifications to the interior, while the exterior gets new square LEDs, a new rear bumper and pinstripes that go along the side of the car, hand-painted using a squirrel-hair brush that takes three hours each to apply. The 6.75-liter V12 powerplant is untouched, but is now mated to a new 8-speed automatic transmission that sports a new rear differential and that is imperceptibly smooth. Sir Henry Royce once said take the best you can find and make it better, a philosophy that Rolls Royce lives by to this very day.
