For those financially inclinded individuals who are about to arrive at the Valley of the Shadow of Death, they now have the option to be driven there in the lap of luxury. For a service that is likely aimed at the customers who were probably driven around in Rolls-Royces their whole lives, British-based family funeral services firm AW Lymn has created a custom Rolls- Royce Phantom Hearse specifically for the transport of coffins and urns.

The Phantom is seven meters long, almost an entire meter longer than a standard Phantom limo. It's equipped with a 6.75-liter V12 with 460-hp and mated to an 8-speed automatic that can zip the dearly departed off to their mausoleum. At a cost of $800,000 dollars to build, the hearse has 600 additional parts held in place by 200 meters of welding. The interior features Polish stainless steel, crystal and high quality leather. The "Funeral Phantom" also features a powerful speaker system with a handheld microphone for broadcasting funeral music en route. There is no word yet from the company on pricing for the service but if they haven't contacted you yet, it's likely way out of your budget.
