Following the limited-edition Phantom Drophead Coupe Waterspeed Collection, Rolls-Royce has unveiled another special edition model in the form of the Phantom Metropolitan Collection introduced at the Paris Motor Show. Designed and built by the carmaker's high-end bespoke division, the custom Phantom will be limited to just 20 units. The intricate designs adorning the ultra-luxury sedan pay homage to the great metropolises of the world, using small pieces of wood veneer that form decorative motifs.

In fact, several days are required to put together the 500 individual pieces used on the picnic table depicting an elevated view of a city, which provides a different view of the city when closed. Finished in a unique Aetherius Gray leather hue, the cabin also boasts 6,800 two-tone stitch work on the central rear seat flutes that shows an abstract image of a skyscraper. Other unique touches include a bespoke clock that extends to the front of the car, while a rotating bezel on the center console expresses 24 cities of the world. The Phantom Metropolitan Collection also boasts a Darkest Tungsten paint job and a hand-painted coachline depicting modern skyscrapers.
