First Bespoke Collection program to be rolled out for all models.
For the first time, Rolls-Royce has created a Bespoke Collection for the marque’s entire range of cars. The Suhail Collection will be offered on the Phantom, Ghost and Wraith, with inspiration coming from the star constellation of the same name. The special Collection also celebrates Arab scientist Ibn al-Haitham, the 10th Century mathematician and astronomer, considered by many to be the father of theoretical physics. “Ibn al-Haitham was a notable pioneer whose scientific achievements represented a turning point in the history of science.
We felt the Suhail constellation was the perfect inspiration for a very special Bespoke collection to celebrate his influence on Eastern and Western science,” said Torsten Muller-Otvos, Chief Executive Officer, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Unique touches on the Rolls-Royce models include a moonstone pearl body color, recreating the color of the stars at night, coupled with a Turchese Blue coachline and Suhail star emblem, inspired by the color of the night sky when the constellation is visible. The color scheme continues inside, where Crème Light leather combines with Turschese accents, framed by a Navy Blue instrument panel top and carpets.
A Starlight Headliner features in the Phantom and Wraith, a Suhail star appears in the marquetry of the Ash Burr wood fascia, while the Bespoke clock’s face depicts the Suhail Ursa Minor and Major constellation.
