Extremely wealthy customers receive privileges that "normal" car buyers can only dream of. For example, you don't have to wait to see a car for the first time at some big auto show. Instead, the company holds a private event just so that you, the wealthy customer, can enjoy seeing a new model before the rest of us. Rolls-Royce is close to revealing its all-new SUV and Automotive News Europe reports that potential customers will be shown this new model in 'closed-room' events that begin this summer.

We assume that these will be the type of events where potential customers valet their old Rolls-Royce at the dealership and are then treated to fancy hors d'oeuvres and coffee made of gold and the dreams of poor people. Rolls-Royce will likely ask customers to turn in their phones so that no images get leaked, but some brave sole will simply hand in their dummy phone and sneak some pictures so the rest of us mere mortals can catch a glimpse of the new Rolls-Royce SUV. So far, we only know this new SUV as the Cullinan, although there is a chance that Rolls-Royce will end up going with a different name.

The full reveal is expected to happen late in the summer of 2018 with deliveries beginning in 2019. We don't know much about this new SUV, but Rolls-Royce engineers promise that it will be "effortless to drive everywhere." It will also share a twin-turbo V12 engine with the Phantom. This would mean a healthy 563 hp. We may not be the first ones to see it, but the Rolls-Royce SUV is finally close to being revealed.
