The Michigan tuning house has made the Ford Super Duty more capable than ever.
Since the Ford Super Duty was given a facelift for the 2020 model year, it's probably going to be a long wait for the next-generation model to arrive with some more significant improvements. To ease the wait, Michigan-based tuning house Roush Performance has taken the 2021 Super Duty to the next level, making Ford's workhorses more capable than ever. Available for the 2021 Ford F-250 Super Duty and F-350 Super Duty trucks equipped with the 6.7-liter V8 turbodiesel, the tuner's latest Super Duty package adds a DPF-Back exhaust system that makes the V8 sound more aggressive while increasing airflow.
To enhance the truck's off-road and on-road performance, Roush's upgraded Fox 2.0 suspension increases the ride height by two inches and features nitrogen-charged aluminum body coilovers with tuned performance springs at the front. Internal floating pistons fitted to the aluminum rear shocks improve the truck's ride comfort and off-roading capability.
The 2021 Roush Super Duty rides on 20-inch satin black wheels wrapped in 35-inch General Tire Grabber AT/X tires, while performance front brake rotors and pads provide additional stopping power for towing or daily driving.
On the outside, Roush has fitted a custom high-flow grille with integrated LED lighting. A new bumper cover and paint-matched fender flares with accent lighting give the Super Duty a more aggressive appearance than the standard truck. Additional exterior modifications include a Roush graphics package and Roush "R" puddle lamps. Inside, the Super Duty's interior is enhanced by a custom Roush gauge cluster, embroidered headrests, Roush Floor liners, serialized interior badges, and unique Roush "R" key fobs.
In addition, Roush is offering optional upgrades including premium leather seats, additional graphics, and a Ready Package that adds a full steel console vault with a four-digit security code and an off-road utility kit.
"We love building high-performance Mustangs, but our customers also want more out of their trucks," said Jack Roush Jr. "The Super Duty is a strong platform to build on; we've added the ROUSH fit and finish that our customers expect, along with performance upgrades that improve the truck's off-road capability." Pricing for the 2021 Roush Super Duty starts at $14,900 over the standard truck's MSRP and comes with a 3-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
