RUF Sets Up Shop In America With A Private Race Track In Miami

Its location at The Concours Club will be incredible.

The German manufacturer RUF has announced that it will open its new North American headquarters at The Concours Club in Miami. Alois Ruf Jr, chairman and son of the founder of the company Alois Ruf Sr, was there to help present the news this past week during the Flat Six Fest held at the same resort.

The company has been pushing out incredible modified Porsche 911 models for almost 35 years, with its automotive history going back over 80 years. There aren't many outfits in the world that can touch a vintage Porsche and truly make it look and drive better, so there's a reason vintage RUF cars go for well north of a million dollars.

So with business booming here in North America, the company felt it was high time to give its discerning clients even more of a luxurious buying experience.

"RUF Automobile stands for engineering excellence, authenticity, passion, and above all, the thrill of driving," comments RUF North America President Victor Gomez IV. "Establishing our headquarters in a global destination city like Miami at a special automotive resort like The Concours Club is a perfect base of operations."

The Concours Club is truly a world-class space. It can be reached anywhere in Miami in just 20 minutes and offers a one-of-a-kind driving experience on a private track with convenient access, thanks to two private airports. It's state of the art, and when we visited there in 2022, we were utterly blown away by just how seriously the facility is taking members' experiences. All this means it is the perfect location for a company like RUF.

The boutique manufacturer will fully utilize The Concours Club to welcome clients by appointment to order and experience the cars and offer general sales, service, parts, and private events for North American clients.

The company has truly come into its own, creating models now that may look Porsche, but are indeed more RUF than anything. The bodies and carbon chassis of its cars are now engineered in-house for models like the CTR Anniversary and SCR.

"The setting of new precedent is something that The Concours Club is very familiar with as we've set a new standard for luxury motorsports experiences," comments The Concours Club President Aaron Weiss. "RUF is a legendary brand with a history of raising the bar and resetting expectations. We recognize the shared DNA of RUF and The Concours Club. Now, we are proud and excited to host RUF North America."
