The last time we left Nurburgring Goddess Sabine Schmitz and Ring instructor Ron Simons, the two had just gone head-to-head while behind the wheel of a couple BAC Monos. Before that, the pair faced off in a Porsche 911 and a Ferrari 458. And now the two are back, only this time the ride of choice is a Larea GT1 S9 Evo. Yeah, we've never heard of it until now either but that's not to say we aren't impressed by its specs. It's powered by a 7.2-liter V8 that produces 709 horsepower and it only weighs 2,006 lbs.

Just to compare those numbers for a moment, the new Chevy Corvette Stingray produces 460 hp and tips the scales at just over 3,200 lbs. In other words, the Lareta is really quite something, and now Schmitz and Simons are competing for the fastest lap times. Want to see the Larea in action?
