With Christmas now less than two weeks away, get ready to be bombarded with holiday-themed car commercials. After Dodge converted a Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye into a sleigh for Santa, Audi is getting into the festive spirit with one of the most creative Christmas commercials we've seen so far promoting the 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback. For the commercial, Audi decided to spruce up Santa's image.

While the jolly old man traditionally has a long beard and bulging belly, Audi has given Santa a modern makeover with a slim new look after he realizes he can't fit inside a modern sports car. Apparently, this is the motivation he needs to go on an intense workout routine. We see him jogging in the snow, boxing with elves, jumping rope, doing sit-ups, and even refusing to eat cookies in favor of broccoli to shed some pounds ready for the big day.

The reward for all his hard work? Mrs. Claus and the elves present Santa with his new sleigh: a red 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback. There's plenty of room for transporting presents in the trunk thanks to the car's 17 cubic-feet of cargo space, while the RS5 Sportback's liftgate allows for easy access.

The reindeers will probably be made redundant though since the RS5's packs a twin-turbocharged 2.9-liter V6 that produces 444 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, enabling the sporty hatchback to sprint from 0-62 mph in four seconds and hit a top speed of 174 mph with Audi's Dynamic Plus package. Pricing for the 2019 Audi RS5 Sportback starts at $74,200, plus a $995 destination charge.
