This news didn't really come as much of a surprise in light of recent events, but it won't be any less controversial. Entertainment Weekly is reporting that TV Land will no longer air reruns of the classic television show "The Dukes of Hazard." Although an official reason wasn't given, it's pretty obvious it's due to the Confederate flag painted on the roof of the show's beloved 1969 Dodge Charger, named General Lee. The show originally ran from 1979-1985 and was made into a feature film in 2005.

This latest Confederate flag removal comes after Warner Bros. said it no longer license toys or models of the car, and retailers like Amazon and Walmart also announced they'll no longer stock merchandise featuring the Confederate flag. After the TV Land's announcement, a petition has now gone up on Change.org requesting the parent company Viacom to "Stop Banning Dukes Of Hazzard."
