Mark your calendars because this December 31, Shelby American will stop building the current Shelby GT350. Launched back in 2011, the GT350 was initially only available as a coupe, but the convertible was added the following year. Many have even argued that the GT350 is the best Mustang ever. Powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.0-liter V8 that's good for 440 horsepower, buyers can add the optional supercharger that boosts power to 525 hp or 624 hp. Styling wise, the car comes with unique color options, unique "GT350" emblems, and other stylistic upgrades.

It's quite a package, but it comes at a price. After buying the stock Mustang GT itself, $26,995 is what it'll cost you to have the base GT350, and $33,995 for the supercharged version. The Shelby GT350 is one of the world's most celebrated, iconic muscle cars," according to Shelby American president, John Luft. "When we unveiled this latest version...we promised it would be built for a limited time to preserve its collectability and value. So we've been preparing for this day since 2010. In true Carroll Shelby fashion, we're planning our next ultimate performance Shelby model." We can hardly wait.
