Scion FR-S by SR Auto Group

Tuning

Canadian tuning house transforms the 2+2 sports coupe with a Japanese widebody kit and Rays alloys.

Vancouver-basedtuner SR Auto Group was recently approached by a local Scion dealership, OpenRoadScion, to create a one-off FR-S. And this is the result. The tuner took theinitiative and fitted a widebody kit by Japanese outfit Rocket Bunny. To fitthe widened fenders, SR Auto sliced off the rear quarter panel and frontfenders, while the kit also includes a GT wing, front lip, sideskirts and arear diffuser. The headlights feature bespoke smoked housing, and emblems andtaillights have been coated in candy red.

Completing the exterior look is a host of carbon-fiber parts including a Seibon hood, APR mirrors and Seibon fog light covers. After installing the kit, the Scion FR-S was brought closer to the ground with a BC Racing adjustable suspension, and a set of 18-inch 57Extreme Rays alloys finished in “Winning Blue” to complement the sports coupe’s Firestorm Red exterior. The finishing touch was an Invidia catback exhaust that adds a low deep growl to match the FR-S' menacing new look.
