Yesterday we brought you the first pictures and details of the Leon Cup racer which Seat will reveal in a few days at the GTI-Treffen gathering in Worthersee, Austria. But that's not the only new racecar Seat has up its sleeve for the hot-hatch festival. Volkswagen's Spanish brand has also announced a newly upgraded version of the Ibiza SC Trophy racer, whose 1.4-liter turbocharged inline-four now produces 200 horsepower, up from the 180 hp in the previous version.

The added power is channeled to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a mechanical differential and is kept in check by upgraded brakes. The Ibiza SC Trophy is used in spec racing series iun Italy and Spain, but Seat Sport will gladly sell you one for €31,500 if all you want to do is lap a racetrack all day and night.
