Sebring Convertible Has Power Under the Hood

Industry News

Many convertibles don't always pack the punch of small sport sedans. In the case of the Sebring convertible, you can choose between three different engines: a 2.4 liter I4, 3.5 V6, and 2.7 V6. The 2.7 liter provides nice power and acceleration. Inside the car is where it falls short. The dash is composed of cheap materials that are not put together well. This seems to be an ongoing theme with the Sebring.

In previous model years, the Sebring convertible had slightly better quality, but it's sad to see Chrysler allow this model to downgrade. With a new Sebring sedan in the works, it's unclear right now whether Chrysler will add a convertible to the lineup.
