Seized Lamborghini Aventador Auctioned for £218K by UK Police

Supercar drivers should be super careful of driving illegally in the UK.

Just two weeks after seizing a Lamborghini Aventador in the capital, British police have auctioned off the supercar for £218,000. The Lambo was initially taken in Newham, East London, as it was missing a front number plate. Further checks revealed the driver’s insurance policy was insufficient to enable him to get behind the wheel. As the owner then failed to come forward it was sold in auction with the money to go towards frontline policing. Those UK bobbies really don’t muck about.
