Sesto Elemento Sounds Brutal

Video

Fall in love all over again with Lamborghini’s screaming V10, this time in the edgier package of the $2.2 million Sesto Elemento.

The ultra-light Sesto Elemento is the latest supercar from Lamborghini, but all we've seen of it so farhas been static displays. Now we've got some video footage, and it sounds positively brutal.

Videographer BrianZuk points out that the first and third ignitions featured in the clip were cold starts, as the Sesto Elemento had been sitting for several hours. The cutting-edge Sesto Elemento carries a curb weight of just 2,202 lbs and, thanks to the 570-horsepower 5.2-liter V10 sourced from the Gallardo, can sprint from rest to 62 mph in only 2.5 seconds and on to an electronically-limited top speed of 186mph. Lamborghini plans on producing the Sesto Elemento in a limited run of only 20 units, each carrying an astonishing $2.2 million price tag.
