Setting Your Porsche Ablaze Is A Good Way To Draw Attention At The New York Auto Show

Accident

Press days are over for the show, but excitement isn’t.

Press days at the New York Auto Show are over, but that doesn’t mean that some flaming hot cars aren’t still making an appearance on the open showroom floor. Earlier today, the fiery show car of the week happened to come from a 993 Porsche 911 Turbo customized by DUB. The car was in the process of being moved when, according to a witness, a loud bang was heard in the showroom and the Porsche quickly caught fire.

The meltdown was caused by an electrical issue and the flames were put out quickly, but not before being filmed for the world to see. Porsche photo by zuumy.
