Nissan has unveiled its new Chinese-spec Tiida at the 2011 Shanghai Motor Show. The automaker took this occasion to showcase the new Tiida because it is essentially a preview of the 2014 Nissan Versa, the more globally-known name of the car model. The details are few on the Tiida, but the vehicle sports a longer wheelbase than its predecessor (by 3.9-inches), and will feature one of the first turbo-charged engines in the Chinese market.
Nissan has stated its intention to introduce a turbo series for the vehicle later in its cycle. Chinese consumers can purchase the Tiida when it goes on sale in late May.
