When you think of the name Shelby, you think of performance. The company has a habit of making everything better through more horsepower. It's best known for making high-performance Mustangs faster, but it makes them prettier too. Even more exciting, the company was just out on the track teasing a possible Bronco upgrade.

But Shelby also has history with enhancing trucks. Its latest offering is the 2021 Shelby F-150 and is a limited-edition pickup being touted as the brand's "most powerful, refined, and competent version of the truck in its history." As you'd hope, it is supercharged - to the tune of a whopping 775 horsepower. Yes, please.

Shelby American President Gary Patterson announced the truck with enthusiasm: "The Shelby F-150's supercharged personality delivers spectacular thrills. It has a new suspension, more power, and even more technology. Our performance DNA is strong within this super truck, which gives enthusiasts the opportunity to drive an amazing off-road capable Shelby right off the dealer showroom floor."

Beyond its epic horsepower rating, Shelby has also added Ford Raptor-style Fox shocks with internal bypass technology and adjustable controls. The underbody has seen more protection added too and Shelby says that the truck can be tuned for the street, rock crawling, or general off-roading.

Styling enhancements include deep tinted windows and a ram-air-style hood. Patterson's promise of refinement is seen in the cabin, where the truck boasts two-tone leather seat covers with Shelby emblems. Shelby floor mats are also added while a serial number reminds you that this is a limited-edition vehicle. Shelby hasn't said exactly how many will be produced, but at a starting MSRP of $107,080, it won't be particularly cheap.

We should also point out that the supercharger that boosts power from 395 hp to 775 is optional, so the price can still climb considerably. Still, with a three-year/36,000-mile limited and powertrain warranty, at least you can enjoy it to the full. And if power isn't your thing, the F-250 Super Baja pictured below is also available.
