The all-new 2015 Ford Mustang is nearly here, and yet it's fair to say it's going to be really hard to say goodbye to the current generation. But before that happens, Shelby American has unveiled its latest dose of Mustang love, the Shelby GT. Unlike those other uber expensive Shelby Mustang creations, specifically the $155,000 Shelby 1000, the new Shelby GT and Shelby GT/SC are actually affordable. For a price of $14,995, Shelby will gladly take your stock Mustang GT (base price of $30k) and add an additional 10 horsepower for a total of 430 hp.

This is possible with the simple addition of a new air intake and sports exhaust system. Other new items include a Panhard suspension bar, 20" wheels, fiberglass hood, billet upper grille, and a short throw shifter. Yes, you get all this for $45k. Those looking for a bit more power, the GT/SC package starts off at $27,995. It adds a major power boost of either 525 or 624 hp thanks to a Whipple supercharger. The package also includes upgraded brakes and performance tires. In the latter state of tune, it'll blast from 0-60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. Both the GT and GT/SC performance packages are on sale now.
