Blue Oval releases pricing for the Mustang Shelby GT350 and GT350R.

Withthe online release of its configurator for the coveted 2016 Shelby MustangGT350 and GT350R, Ford has essentially revealed the price list for these twohigh-performance models. And while both of these cars look incredibly hot in justabout every configuration, they do come at a hefty premium. The 2016 Shelby GT350Rstarts from $61,295 (excluding destination and gas guzzler tax). Opt for thecheaper and more road-friendly GT350 and you'll look at prices starting from$47,795 (in addition to $900 destination and $1,300 gas guzzler tax).

Of course, both are powered by Ford's flat-planecrank N/A 5.2-liter V8, churning out a sweet 526 hp and 429 lb-ftof torque and mated to a 6-speed manual with RWD. Want tosee what you're really paying for? Check out Ford's own GT350R track footage:
