With the online release of its configurator for the coveted 2016 Shelby Mustang GT350 and GT350R, Ford has essentially revealed the price list for these two high-performance models. And while both of these cars look incredibly hot in just about every configuration, they do come at a hefty premium. The 2016 Shelby GT350R starts from $61,295 (excluding destination and gas guzzler tax). Opt for the cheaper and more road-friendly GT350 and you'll look at prices starting from $47,795 (in addition to $900 destination and $1,300 gas guzzler tax).
Of course, both are powered by Ford's flat-plane crank N/A 5.2-liter V8, churning out a sweet 526 hp and 429 lb-ft of torque and mated to a 6-speed manual with RWD. Want to see what you're really paying for? Check out Ford's own GT350R track footage:
