At first it may seem like an impossible comparison. One of these cars is an EV while the other is powered by a twin-turbo V8. However, both are jam packed with technology and give off a sense of "yeah, I've made it big in the world." The new Mercedes-Benz S500 and the Tesla Model S are two hot-selling large luxury sedans that appeal to many of the same potential customers. Each one, especially when fully-loaded, costs well over $100k.
