Skiing in the French Alps? There's a Special Dacia For That

If you're one of those who love to go off to faraway places for a ski trip, you're probably not looking at getting a Dacia to transport you up to the lodge. Ski resorts, like the ones in the French Alps, often conjure up images of a luxurious lifestyle, but we shouldn't forget that the Dacia Duster has an ice racing history too. Now Renault's funky Romanian subsidiary has announced a new special edition model for the skiing type.

The new limited edition Duster comes in a white paint job, special badging, a reinforced aluminum sump guard, a roof rack for your skis, and a set of spare wheels pre-fitted with snow tires. The engine, however, remains the same 110-horsepower turbo diesel four that's also found on the Lauréate 4x4 trim. This edition of the Duster comes thanks to Renault's partnership with the Ecole de Ski Francais. Oh, did we mention that it's also exclusively available to ESF instructors at an MSRP of €18,990 ($27,380)?
