Skoda To Field A Czech Rally Team

Motorsport

Skoda might not be first manufacturer that you think of when it comes to motorsports, but Skoda once had a very successful rallying run with the 130 RS which included a win at the 1977 Monte Carlo Rally. It is this heritage which they are looking to invoke with their Fabia Super 2000 factory team entry in the 2011 International Czech Republic Rally Championship. Factory driver Jan Kopecky won the series in 2004, also in a Fabia, so they are expected to do well.
