Skoda has announced big plans to expand and update its model line over the course of the new year with six new debuts. That's some mighty big ambition for a relatively small automaker, so what are we looking at? With a new vehicle to debut about every other month, Skoda has already revealed that January's debut will be the new Rapid, followed by the new Octavia sedan (which we've already seen) in March. June will see the debut of the Octavia Combi wagon, but the August, October and December debuts remain a mystery.

From veiled forms of the cars depicted, we could be looking at additional versions of the Rapid and/or Octavia. The enthusiast within us all hopes they're the vRS performance models of both. But the December debut looks to have more of an SUV shape, leading to speculation that it could be a new version of the Yeti crossover. The Skoda range currently consists of the Citigo, Fabia, Roomster, Rapid, Octavia, Yeti and Superb. We'll have to hold tight to find out what else Skoda has planned, but one way or another, it looks like it'll be a busy year for Volkswagen's Czech brand.
