A sleek and sporty future awaits the Czech carmaker.
With its new Geneva-bound VisionC concept, Skoda is showing its sporty side and previewing a new five-door hatchback coupe the Czech carmaker will add to its lineup in 2016. Sitting somewhere between the Octavia and Superb models, the VisionC will battle the Mercedes CLA and has the sharp, sculpted lines to draw plenty of attention. Skoda says the new design language will be “expressive, dynamic and emotional,” and we particularly like the triangular-themed light arrangements at the front and rear.
The roof line also has an element of stablemate Audi’s four-door coupes about it. Power comes from a 1.4-liter direct injection gasoline unit that can run on natural gas, but more traditional gasoline and diesel units will be used on the production car. Live pics from Geneva to come next week.
