Periodically, Smart releases new special edition models based on the ForTwo micro vehicle. Mercedes Italy has recently unveiled a new special edition based on the Smart ForTwo Carbio, dubbed the Brabus Le Bleue. The Le Bleue will be designated only for the Italian market and will be limited to only 60 units. A main distinguishing feature on the special edition is a plain dark blue metallic paint and special alloy wheels by Brabus Monoblock.

Inside, the interior receives a soft beige color with contrasting leather seats and door trim with blue stitching and the Brabus logo. Similar to the rear of the Brabus models, the Smart ForTwo Cabrio Le Bleue is powered by the same 102-horsepower engine that can jet from 0 to 60 mph in 8.9 seconds. The top speed for this cabrio rests at 96 mph; hardly exhilarating, yet enough for city use.
