Snow Plow Turns All-New Ford F-150 into Winter Warrior

Won't be available until it's much warmer.

The timing of this new option couldn’t be better. With Chicago in the midst of one of the snowiest winters on record, Ford will unveil its snow plow prep option for the all-new 2015 Ford F-150 at the Chicago Auto Show this week. Available for the Regular, Supercab, and SuperCrew in XL, XLT or Lariat trim, the snow plow package requires trucks to be equipped with the 5.0-liter V8 and four-wheel drive.

A push of a button activates the snow plow mode, with all non-essential features shutting down to provide dedicated power for the plow. Owners will have to visit a Ford Qualified Vehicle Modifier to purchase and install the plow, which has yet to be priced.
