Soleil Motors is hard at work preparing their Anadi 2-door coach-built Corvette for production and the Italian firm currently has their hands full homologating the new model for the American, Middle Eastern, Asian and, of course, European markets. They expect the vehicle to receive its registration as a street-legal passenger car by the end of this month. A waitlist has already been started with orders still rolling in as deliveries are expected to begin by the end of this year.

The Soleil Anadi made its presence felt at the 2012 Top Marques Monaco show in April with two hand-built beauties on display. To further the appeal of the purchase of one of their automobiles, Soleil is offering an array of bespoke options for their supercar, including Alcantara, leather and wood grain finishes, logo embossing, custom wheels and more. Soleil has also stated that plans are in place to produce a GT version of the Anadi. It will be built with the tri-fecta of performance tweaks, including the use of carbon fiber, weight reduction and added power output from its 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine.

The Anadi already boasts 651 horsepower and 571 pound-feet of torque which allow it to travel from 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 202 mph, so any added power would be very impressive to say the least. Soleil also plans to employ something called "magnetic rim technology", a process which, according to the startup, utilizes "kinetic energy formed from magnetics to increase overall speed and efficiency" in developing the Anadi GT.
