How much would you be willing to pay for this crumpled Challenger SRT Hellcat?
With such brutal power on tap thanks to its 707-horsepower V8 HEMI, the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat is a demanding beast to tame, so it's inevitable that some get totalled when incapable hands are behind the wheel. Somehow, this poor Hellcat only lasted 18 miles before it was fit for the scrapyard. The circumstances of the accident are unknown, but the low mileage suggests the unfortunate owner must have wrecked it soon after leaving the dealership. If you're looking for parts to build a new project car, Cleveland Pap is currently selling the damaged Dodge.
Just about every panel on the Challenger's mangled bodywork has been dismembered and its front face is disfigured in what must have been a serious accident. Intriguingly, however, the images show that the airbags didn't deploy on impact, and the interior still looks immaculate. Crucially, the engine bay appears to be intact, meaning that the Hellcat's beating 6.2-liter supercharged V8 heart looks to have survived the crash, while other components are still likely to be functional. At least someone out there will be able to salvage the parts and perform a transplant to create a custom 707-hp monster based on the Hellcat.
Brand new, a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with an automatic transmission will set you back $68,285, but if you only need the engine and transmission this could be a good money saver. Question is, how much would you be willing to pay for this crumpled Challenger Hellcat?
