Land Rover builds some awesome luxury SUVs, the Range Rover being the best known and most coveted of them all, but America has missed out on decades worth of cool models, including the legendary Defender. These days you can get your hands on a brand new Defender, Discovery, and a whole range of Range Rover models, but the classic models are still few and far between. Until now. A seller on eBay recently listed a massive collection of classic Land Rover models and miscellaneous parts and he's asking $500,000 for the lot. That money can buy you one 1993 Overfinch Range Rover with $100k to spare, or 37 Land Rovers that all need a bit of work. The choice is obvious.

The seller calls this the largest soft-dash Range Rover Classic collection in the world, and started hoarding these classics as a side hustle to put himself through college. Now that he has graduated, the collection needs to go. The collection is extensive: there are 19 soft-dash Range Rovers from 1995, a chop-top V8 Range Rover Classic, two Discovery 2s, seven Discovery 1s, a single 2005 LR3 with a blown engine, a classic Defender 90, two Defender 110s, two Defender 130s, and a 2008 Range Rover Supercharged. Included in the sale are two 40-foot shipping containers housing LHD Defender bulkheads, LS/coyote drivetrains, a puma LHD 130 body on a brand new rolling chassis, a complete LHD Discovery 2 with OEM TD5/R380 swap, and more other random parts than you can imagine.

All the parts and cars are located on a private property in Orlando, Florida, and the owner is willing to facilitate viewings and keep some of the cars in storage after the sale goes through. The seller is willing to break up the lot, but is not interested in selling small pieces or individual cars bit by bit. As of the 17th of February, the seller has let go of the Discovery 1 models and a 1995 RRC long wheelbase. For $500,000 you could buy two fully-kitted 2022 Range Rovers or an entire fleet of Ford Bronco SUVs. But for a diehard Land Rover fan with time on their hands, a lot of space, and deep pockets, there's nothing else out there like this epic collection of rugged SUVs.
