When Sony absolutely wowed the world by unveiling the Vision-S, the first question on everyone's lips was, "Will this car become a reality?" Sony answered that in a disappointing manner by saying that the car was not intended for mass production and would instead be used to showcase the company's infotainment advancements. While those looking for an alternative to the Tesla Model S may have been disappointed by this, Sony then teased another car making us wonder how true Sony's claims that the company won't be building cars for the public are. Regardless of what the future holds, development of the Vision-S is continuing and the car has arrived in Tokyo for just that.

The video above shows the concept car being delivered to Sony's headquarters in Tokyo, Japan on the back of a truck, and features close-up shots of the steering wheel and cabin screens, the Brembo brakes and diamond-faced wheels, and the lighting system at either end of the car. Sure, this doesn't tell us anything we don't already now about the car, but the sheer beauty of the Vision-S makes this short video worth the watch nonetheless. Although Sony's hand in motoring has previously never extended beyond the Gran Turismo racing series for Playstation, we have to remark once again how perfectly viable this concept looks.

The video concludes with the car being driven to what appear to be designers at Sony who eagerly and proudly go over the car's details, but the joy on some faces leads us to believe that it's not just the public who would like to see this car come to life on the streets. Not all such dreams come true, but Sony can afford to invest in such a project and the responses from its followers and fans - should they be positive and plentiful enough - could just be enough to convice the bigwigs that this car is viable for mass or even limited production.
