Make yours the bluest truck in town.
After unveiling a slew of special edition models this year, including the Ram 1500 Sublime Sport and Ram Rebel Blue Streak in New York, as well as new options for Laramie range, Ram wants to end 2017 on a high with the final special edition of the year, the Hydro Blue Sport. Special features on the eye-catching truck include a black-decaled Sport performance hood, a body-colored grille with black billet inserts, black R-A-M lettering, and black badging on the side and rear.
The headlamps and LED taillights have also been blacked out, while the front-fascia, rear bumper, side mirrors and door handles are finished in the same shade of blue as the body. 4x4 models come with polished 20-inch wheels as standard, with the 4x2 models getting a set of 22-inch polished alloys. “The custom look and high-impact colors have been well received in the marketplace and this new Ram 1500 Hydro Blue Sport will surely stand out on dealers’ lots and in customers’ driveways,” said Mike Manley, Head of Jeep & Ram. “Enthusiasts demand that their trucks get noticed and our Ram 1500 Sport lineup delivers a durable, powerful alternative with great visual appeal.”
The blue theme continues inside, where Blue Sport embroidery accents the seats, blue Ram’s head logos flank the headrests and blue stitching adorns the instrument panel, steering wheel and door trim. Instrument panel bezels, center console trim and door spears, and a new instrument panel badge all come coated with a blue anodized surface. A black headliner completes the new look. Optional extras include full leather seating and trim, gloss black wheels, black tubular side steps, chrome wheel-to-wheel side steps, Active Level air suspension, ParkSense and the RamBox storage system. Limited to 2,000 trucks in the US, the Ram 1500 Hydro Blue Sport will go on sale this month, priced at $46,060.
